Looks can often deceive. What could be an almost certainty to one's eye can easily dissolve with a quick brush of the hand. Inventive Illusions will challenge the perception of materials and intention of art and design by inviting the viewer to explore reality beyond this first visual impression. In order to fully discover and understand a piece of design, it should be intimately experienced and explored with all of the senses.
Sensory Design: Inventive Illusions is hosted by Wexler Gallery in partnership with
Sensory Design, presented by the Philadelphia Design District. An opening at Wexler Gallery will be held on Saturday, October 6th, from 6-9pm.
