The 6th Annual Jefferson Geodesign Forum will take place at our East Falls campus on Friday, October 12, 2018. This year’s event will focus on the role of ground-based LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) - or 3D laser scanning - in 3D Modeling for Geodesign, Architecture, Preservation and Cinema. You will hear compelling presentations from practitioners, educators, technologists, and designers who will share examples of their work in architecture, preservation, 3D modeling for geodesign, set design for major motion pictures, live LiDAR demonstrations, and more. As always, we wrap up with a networking social (complementary happy hour) to give everyone a chance to share what they are doing and hear what others are doing in this exciting field. To be held at our state-of-the-art auditorium on the East Falls campus of Jefferson, reachable by public transportation, but also with plenty of free parking. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 12, 2018 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm for the event and 5:00pm to 7:00pm for the networking social. Looking forward to seeing you there.
